I/my company have/has record of non-payment. Can I become a customer anyway?

Yes. Many of our customers have liquidity fluctuations, but that doesn’t prevent you from becoming a customer with Euro Finans and selling your invoices.

What does it take to become a customer at Euro Finans?

What is Euro Finans?

Euro Finans was founded by Anders Jarlskog in 1989. Since then the company has grown, and today we are the Swedish company with the highest amount of bought invoices. Each year we handle over 150,000 invoices worth more than SEK 6 billion. We are very proud of our customers’ trust.

Is there any monetary limit for the invoices?

No, there is neither a minimum nor a maximum. However, we usually recommend that the invoice is at least SEK 5,000 incl. VAT when you sell your invoices to us.

What if my customer is not creditworthy?

If your customer is not creditworthy, we will always try to help you handle the invoice through one of our other services. Please call our credit department at +46 (0)46-31 20 20 and we’ll see if we can help you.

Do you confirm all the invoices I submit?

No, we don’t. We confirm some, but not all invoices.

What if my customer disputes the invoice?

Then we try to ask why the invoice has been disputed. In most cases it can be solved by talking to each other. We can give you a helping hand when dealing with this.

How do I submit attachments?

If you send your invoice via e-mail, we prefer that you send any attachments in the same PDF file as the invoice. Otherwise, you can attach them to a separate email. However, remember to name your attachments so that we can easily link the attachments with the correct invoice.

If I have made a mistake on an invoice that I have already sent you, what do I do?

Please credit the invoice and send a replacement invoice.

How do I send invoices to you?

We can receive invoices via e-mail, mail or your accounting/business system.

Factoring, accounts receivable factoring, invoice factoring, accounts receivable financing – are they all the same thing?

Yes, it’s the same service, only with different names and whether you see it from the perspective of a seller or buyer.

We have overdue invoices – can you help us get paid?

Debt collection is a very powerful tool in this context. Feel free to contact us and we’ll see if we can help you.

Do you assume the credit risk for private customers?

No. Currently we don’t assume credit risk for your private customers. However, we have noticed that private customers’ willingness to pay increases significantly if the invoice comes through Euro Finans.

Do you assume the credit risk for businesses?

Yes, as a rule, we assume the credit risk when buying an invoice, but it depends on our agreement.

Do you buy invoices with Swedish ROT/RUT deductions?

Yes. However, we only buy the part that your customer will normally pay. You must still apply for the deduction from the Swedish Tax Agency.

Do I have to sell all my invoices?

No, you choose which invoices you want to sell through factoring, invoice monitoring or invoice discounting.

What length of credit period can you handle?

We believe that invoice factoring doesn’t pay off after 120 days. There are other solutions, such as business loans, instead. Read more about our various financing options here.

How fast do I get the money when I sell my invoice?

When you sell your invoice to us, the payment is usually made the same day.

How much does it cost to sell my invoice?

We do not apply fixed price lists. Among other things, we are looking at whether you want to sell individual or all invoices, your credit period and what your customer base looks like. Feel free to contact us and you will get a specific price for you and your company.

Does selling my invoice affect my customer?

Invoice factoring doesn’t affect your customer. Your customer will see an electronic label on the invoice with our bank giro number (an electronic funds transfer system available in Europe that permits a payer to transfer funds from their bank account to a payee’s bank account). You and your company still retain your identity.
