Interview with Filip

Written by Euro Finans AB | Jun 27, 2023 11:37:00 AM

Filip is a lawyer at Euro Finans and when he was recruited, he promised himself that if he couldn’t see  himself working for the organization in two years’ time, he would have to do something about his situation and leave the company. He has still not even glanced in any other direction, despite the high demands on his work and work environment.

– There’s a great feeling of satisfaction about our work here, says Filip. My partner runs her own business and I know what a strain it is for her organization and for her personally, when the company has accounts receivable that are not paid on time. It was particularly tough for many business owners during the pandemic. If your accounts receivable don’t get paid, there is a risk of your not being able to pay your employees. If you can’t do that, you give up your own income. Being able to help business owners in such vulnerable situations feels very fine and that we don’t just talk, we also pay.
Filip says that when he refers to Euro Finans as his employer in private social contexts, he meets a positive response:

– It can be seen that there is great confidence in us! Either someone who has been in contact with us has received help, or parents who are grateful for Euro Finans’ sponsoring a lot of local sports associations. I am a parent myself and it feels especially good for me that the company I work for creates change for our children too, says Filip.

Euro Finans has a traditional organizational structure with six different departments with their respective heads. The style of management is informal: The managers are there as a support for the staff and you can discuss your  work with them, or get proposals for what goes best together with the evening’s fish. Everyone is of equal value ats Euro Finans, regardless of their professional role. The managers at Euro Finans are responsive and good at reacting to requests or proposals for changes from employees.

– As long as you work well, there is no one breathing down your neck and creating unnecessary stress, the managers are like us employees. You can knock on their door and ask about anything, regardless of who you are, says Filip. Freedom with responsibility is what applies here. with positive management. Everyone is listened to, which creates a  high work morale. If there is anything one can do, one does it, regardless of whether it concerns a customer or a colleague. Being surrounded by people whom you can trust and call friends at a workplace is something we all value, says Filip.
